The main goal of Master of Architecture in Building Technology is to provide graduate education focusing on the research and applied design. Our missions is to provide higher education for understanding building technology issues and pursue new knowledge to appropriately serve needs in building problems with in the local and regional context. Philosophy

Bachelor of Architecture program (Revised 2012) aims to produce graduates with knowledge in the field of architecture who are ready for the professional practice and able to develop the learning process to apply it in the practice with changes in the future. Furthermore, students will be trained their skills and provided experiences in architecture to be ready for their future works. The program intends to produce graduates who have virtue, morality, and ethics in both their living and working; and understand the situation of the world also the societies that is diverse and constantly changing. The graduates from the program will be able to integrate knowledge and sciences involved in the architectural creative process that is sustainably consistent with locality; and will be desired by the societies and the current job markets.

About Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design degree of Khon Kaen University

The program Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design produces graduates who are creative and rational with wide knowledge in various fields such as society, science, and technology. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to be skilled in design, production; and managing business to meet the needs of the country: growing economy and industry by following the objectives of the program as follows:

1. Have a good attitude toward the value of art and craft, culture, and local wisdom of the Northeast; and be able to develop handicrafts and folk wisdom to keep pace with age and technological evolution;

2. Be potential in research, and in industrial design and handicraft product development;

3. Be able to apply science of design to preserve art and culture; and restore local wisdom of Thai society and the nation;

4. Be replete with morals and professional ethics, and have a vision of sustainable development.

Background
The Faculty of Architecture was established in 1988 in order to extend and intensify students to become qualified architects up to international standards. The Faculty’s main goal is to produce graduates distinctive with well-balanced knowledge, morals and wisdom. The Faculty has outstanding academic positions in architecture, industrial design, and urban and regional planning. The institute is to be intellectual in architectural fields in the Northeast of Thailand and the Mekong region.
To meet a full range of student needs, The Faculty is now fully equipped with academic resources; a number of good international books and references, computing facilities, and industrial and architectural workshops. Apart from qualified in-house teaching staff, the department has regularly visiting professors with their valued experience and/or academic recognition from all over the country and from oversea. The graduates from the Faculty can provide services to the community and support the cultural heritage of the region. This forms well-balanced and long-lasting development of the Northeast and the nation. The competence of the graduates will also leads to national and international recognition.

To attain international quality of education, the Faculty of Architecture houses lectures, and guest lecturers and professors from national universities in the country, Aside from classroom and laboratory lectures, students have many opportunities to do field studies by visiting architectural works and visit indigenous architecture in the Northeastern Thailand. Currently, the Faculty offers two undergraduate programs: a five – year program for the Bachelor of Architecture and a four-year program for the Bachelor of Architecture in Industrial Design, The Faculty also hosts a Master Program in Urban Planning since 2005.
